Pat Siegner is an artist living on a cattle ranch at Riverside, east of Burns, Oregon. She and her husband Monte have raised five children. One child, Mitch, ranches with them.
Pats parents always encouraged her artwork. Her mother was an artist herself.
After Pat was married, at every opportunity, she did artwork. Pat grew to love the big wide-open landscapes of Eastern Oregon. That is what she paints.
She paints primarily from her heart, remembering colors and shapes and scenes she has loved. Often she will put a very early sunrise or an evening sunset in a painting. She likes surprises so she will sometimes paint some cattle in the distance, or a distant rider on his way to a mountain spring.
Her paintings are called impressionistic, rhythmical with bright colors.
Pat has shown at the Hillsboro Library, Hyde Park Gallery, and St. Lukes Hospital in Boise. She has also shown at galleries and businesses in Bend and Burns.
If you want a very creative and unique experience depicting Eastern Oregon, you'll like her work.
